Project partners discussed the upcoming activities of the Taktak project during an in-person gathering in Athens. The meeting, hosted by the Athens Technology Center, took place on 23-24 January 2025 and planned the forthcoming activities for the year.

Athens Technology Center kicked-off the meeting by presenting a prototype of the Taktak Solution, where project partners discussed the positive evolution of the tool and the potential changes to be made and new features to be added to the platform. For example, it was suggested to add the profile of the users or the languages in which the platform should be delivered. This session was also the opportunity for partners to discuss possibility of testing the Taktak Solution on their websites and for Transitions to present a potential business model. Partners used this time together to reflect on the launch of the platform.
The next day, Worldcrunch initiated a conversation with La Marea, Mensagem de Lisboa, Livy Bereg and Pod tepeto on an editorial project on Ukraine that should be released in the coming months.
Following this brainstorming, WAN-IFRA presented the results of the surveys for journalists in Europe (published in July and November 2024) to the partners and the upcoming steps for the dissemination of the project.
After these two days of fruitful meetings, partners returned home confident and carrying a clear plan of action for the year to come and food for thought on the future of the Taktak Solution.
The results of the surveys for journalists in Europe will be published in March!
